Firstly allow me to tell you that there is actually two type of D&G V3i gold. Lets starts with the first one, the original limited edition G&D liquid gold motorola V3i. This set was sold in a few exclusive Dolce & Gabbana boutiques in Italy, France, Germany, Spain and the UK. It is limited to 1000 set world wide, and each of this limited edition engraved a serial number on the back of the phone and it also come with Special video clip on 20 Years of Dolce & Gabbana. And some said it is made of real gold, well all i know is that this limited edition does not come in a golden box like we often see, but in a black box. take a closer look this limited edition has a black outline around the phone where the other is sliver lining.

Alright ladies and manly men, this is the golden box, even the box give you that elegant feeling, its uniquely pack when you pull out the right side of the box the V3i will slide out automatically, this is the first mobile phone packaging which somewhat surprises me.

Front view the motorola logo will be light up in blue when the phone is active. Same as other V3i but the gold really make the phone look elegant.
Back view we can see the speaker and D&G brand name on it.
Side view, here we can see the volume control, camera buttoms and of course the usb port for data connection and charging. usb charging is the best move motorola had ever made, compare to the old V600 type of charging port which always give problem after sometime. With usb charging you can just charge your V3i with a usb cable connected to your laptop of desktop no need original charger.

Look at the golden keypad its so cool, I felt that V3 series of keypad gives a cyber style and when it glow its add to it now with its gold its give a touch of elegance a very solid feel.

About the cover, when you r phone is new, you really need to add presure on the back cover to close it. Here microSD card slot on the right and sim on the right, you no need to remove the battery in order to remove the memory card.
Look at the size its so slim, you really have to hold it to feel it. I have been using N93 when I hold this fine slim phone its just felt different, hope future function class phone is this slim?
The menu like others V3i not much different
Now this is different this phone is not running on itune but Java Music Player, this big different is that there is no limitation of songs you can put in your phone it all depend on the size of your memory card. Where the itune limit to 50 to 100 songs. But the Java player is hidden in the Games & Apps menu.
