What's in the BOX! Nokia 5300 come usb, setero headset, 256mb micro sd card. Its consider a small form factor slide phone but fortunately it has quite big buttons on the keypad thus no problem for me. Blue backlight on keypad. Rubberized body give a sporty feel. Its OS is Nokia series 40, easy to use, everything seem the same as series 60 just you can't install software, i mean many software like quick office, but it come preinstall with dictiondary and note pad.
The sliding rod! you are able to see two metal rod in the backing of the phone, this is to provide a smooth slide to the phone its so much better than 8800 I once had. And I like that metal backing it gives a solid feel to the phone.
Oh yes this is something new it also come with a 2.5mm to 3.5mm converter so you can use your own earphone if you want, quite cool but if you use your own earphone you will not beable to ans phone call, unless you earphone wome with a mic. But guess its would be use full to link it up with external speakers.

It come with a pair of white headset I like it because theres is a clip and the mic is the small and neat smaller than my N93 mic

Here the stand by display screen when you did not move the joy stick you can see the Menu option at the lower center area
Now when I move the joy stick down, it turn to Select option thus for us to select option like music player, radio, etc
This is how the music player look like, and option in the player. This player is much better than my N93 as it will auto update music library, and have resume function which my N93 don't really have, guess N93 is not a music edition thats why.
