There are more and more "copy version" of mobile phone and memory card selling in the market. There are many seller in the market selling export set and “recondition” mobile phone as brand new local warranty set. Now there are even true copy version of mobile phone where some company overseas are able to produce identical phone like Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, etc and sell them without the brand logo.
I encoutered before when memory card distributor from overseas want to offer me an "upgrade" version of memory card and the price is much more cheaper. At first I thought its must be some higher speed and quality memory card on promotion as he said "upgarde" sound so upgraded. But the truth is that it is a copy version of the original memory card, thus its so low cost. He told me not to worry as the "upgrade" version packaging is the same as the original even printed with "5 years warranty" and "made in Japan". The last thing the overseas distributor told me was "its ok now everyone is buying this you should try too its low cost". Well sorry thats really not for me, one of my friend got a 1GB memory card and it turn out to be 512MB even though when you place the card in the system it state 1GB, the memory had been modified to "upgrade" version. Seen he is very good in IT as thats his job, he manage to find a software and coverted the memory card back to 512MB. He called the seller and told him about it and the seller told him "the memory is fine is just that you don't know how to use"
